As part of my System Administrator duties and responsibilities i.e. manage user accounts, access rights, permissions and storage allocations. Also to provide technical support and resolve any software and hardware problems related to storage devices and servers. My duties and responsibilities as an System Administrator include:
- Discussing IT changes and enhancements
- Monitoring system health
- Developing methods and tools to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment
- Providing assistance with day-to-day use of the system
- Creating metrics to measure the effectiveness of the system
- Soliciting and analysing feedback from users
- Overseeing testing to find problems within the system
- Working with software developers to improve existing systems
